Venue & Facilities

Parking
Parking is normally provided at the venue free of charge.
Toilets and Washing
Toilets and basic washing facilities are normally provided but it is advised that you bring your own towel.

Refreshments are normally provided.

Date and Time
Please ensure that you arrive to your fire walking event or course in good time. Once the fire walking event or course commences no further admissions will be permitted for safety reasons.

Cost
The cost of a fire walking event or course is normally per person.
Entrance for spectators is normally free but if accommodation is required a fee is payable.
Making Payment
Pre-payment prior to an event or course can be made by cheque, bank transfer or PayPal (using a credit or debit card).
Payment on the night of an event or on the first day of a course can be made by cheque or cash.
NOTE: You must use our online booking form even if you wish to provide payment using an offline method such as cheque or bank transfer.

Cancellation or Withdrawal
Participants may decide at any time not to complete an activity. Only volunteers take part!
Withdrawal within five days an event or course will not attract a refund of fees.
If FireWalker decide to cancel the event (in case of extreme weather for example) a full refund will be given.

Eligibility
To participate you need to be at least 18 years and able to walk approximately 10 metres unassisted.
Persons deemed in the opinion of the event or course leader to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to participate.
No participant will be encouraged to take part in any activity with which they are uncomfortable. All activities are for volunteers only. Participants will not be permitted to coerce others!

Preparation
It is not necessary for you to undertake training or other preparation prior to the event or course.

Equipment
A torch may be handy as certain activities take part at night!
Please ensure that personal possessions are labeled or left out of sight in your hotel room or vehicle.

Clothing and Footwear
You will be walking on fire so please dress accordingly. Three quarter length trousers or zip-offs are ideal as are trainers or sandals. Socks are optional!
Footwear must be worn at all times, unless otherwise instructed. This is for your safety.
Remember you will be fire walking with bare feet!

Photographs and Video
FireWalker will photograph and record the course on video. Photographs and the video can be purchased online from FireWalker seven days after the course.
You are welcome to take photographs and video for your own use. However, video recording is not permitted in the fire walking seminar but there will be opportunities for photographs.

Mobile Phones
Mobile phones are not permitted in any FireWalker seminar, the activity and fire area.
This is for your safety - concentration is important!

Spectators
Non participants are welcome to watch the activities for free, but are not permitted to attend any FireWalker seminar.
Spectators must ensure they do not obstruct proceedings and must obey the FireWalker marshal(s) at all times.
