ON THE 15 JUNE 2005, Amanda Dennison of Alberta, Canada broke the world record for completing the longest recognised fire walk.
Amanda, who in her early twenties, only trained as a FireWalking Instructor in December 2004. Within 6 months of certification, she crossed 220 feet of glowing coals, measured between 1,600 and 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit. The fire walking world record was previously 167 feet.
